As we wind down to the 2012 elections, it is important that citizens have as much information as possible about those people for whom they will be voting. Therefore, we will begin posting information about individual candidates.
We will do our best to provide information that is outside the Main Stream Media — you can find that on your own. We do not say that we will give equal time to the candidates. Our purpose is to provide information that you can use in vetting a candidate. How much is provided for each candidate will depend on what we decide is informative and interesting.
We’re not in the “fair and balanced” mode – we will ”throw it all out there and let the chips fall where they may.” Candidates is a tough category because feelings run high either for or against — if you don’t like a post, be an adult and just move on. That’s what free speech is all about. And, of course, you are welcome to post a comment — just keep it civil.
We do not and will not ENDORSE candidates — that’s your job. May God bless this country and give us the wisdom to choose moral and wise leaders.
For fast access to this site, add an icon to your desktop.
For Windows: Go to the Home page of this site. Find an area with white space and right-click on it. You will get a menu -- select "Create Shortcut." You will then be asked if you want to add the icon to your desktop -- select "Yes." The icon is now on your desktop -- find it and move it to a convenient spot. You may rename it by right clicking on the name and typing in a new name.
For Mac, FireFox or Safari: You may have noticed while surfing around that when clicking text on a page it sometimes turns into a box, one that you can drag. I know I did, and I always wondered what I could do with it. Now I know.
You can drag any text link from a page onto your desktop to create a shortcut. Also, if you want to make a desktop shortcut of the current web page, just drag the icon that appears to the left of the URL in the address bar. This is by default a globe icon, but a site can customize it so it may look like some other 16×16 image. Either way, just drag it to your desktop and it will create a .webloc file. Just click it to open it up in your default browser!
